Our Criteria:

We are looking for items that are free of stains, holes and extensive wear. The items must have been in the regular retail stores and be fashion forward. We do buy ALL SEASONS ALL YEAR depending on selling trends!

We Buy:

Men’s Sizes: S-XXXL or 28-42 Women’s Sizes: XS-XXXL or 0-28 Children’s Sizes: Infant to 14/16. We also buy small gift and collectible items as well as select books.

Pricing Policy:

The price that we pay you is based on the style, brand and condition of each item. If you consign with us you will receive 50% of the selling price. If you sell to us for check payment, you will receive approximately 30% of the selling price.

1. We set up the moving company to pick your items up and bring them to us and you pay the fee to the mover (about $65/hour) and your consignment split will be 50/50.

How much do you pay for your items

If you sell to us for check on the spot, we offer approximately 30% of the lowest price we sell it for. If you consign with us, that amount becomes approximately 50% of the selling price of the item.

How long does the store credits lasts?

In store credit is good forever. You do not have to use the credit the same day.

What is your return policy?

We gladly accept returns that have ALL tags attached (including security and return tags) and original receipt according to the policies below.

In store purchases can be returned for a merchandise credit in the form of a TF Merchandise card within 5-days of purchase. After 5 days, returned items may be re-consigned.

Online orders must have a postmarked return date within 5-days of receipt of order and be accompanied by the original packing slip. Items received after the allotted time or with the security tag and/or store tags tampered with, missing or removed cannot be returned. If you choose to have your item re-consigned with True Fashionistas we are happy to provide a complimentary return label.

Do you only accept designer items?

No, we accept designer items as well as items in the mid-market stores (White House Black Market, J Crew, Ann Taylor, etc). However, we do not purchase items from discounters such as Target, Walmart JC Penny or Sears.

Do you offer an option to consign items?

Yes, that is what makes us different from everyone. We offer you the option to sell your items for check payment, consign them and also use the money on your account to purchase things tax free.

How long will the buying process take?

It depends how many people we have in front of you and how many items you have. It usually only takes about 30 -45 minutes however depending on how many items are buys are ahead of you it may take longer to sort through your items. We will send you a text message when we are done with your buy. While you are waiting, you are free to shop our store! Remember when you use the money on your account for your purchase, the purchase is tax free up to the amount on your account.

What services and promotions do you offer?

We have several things we offer to make your shopping experience more pleasurable.
• We offer a wish list where you can put things on your list and we will call you as soon as they come in (very popular).
• We will also have periodic events happening. Just stay tuned to our website for upcoming events and promotions.

Yes, we accept formal wear of all types (evening wear, ball gowns, prom and pageant dresses, etc.)

How Do We Price Your Items?

We do extensive research to price our items and we price in the middle because we feel that is where our items sell best! The goal is to sell the items as fast and fairly as we can.

Can I Determine the Price?
At True Fashionistas our experienced processing team does the research and pricing. We price your items fairly, as we do the vast research to ensure we have the best price. However, if there are any questions about the price of your items feel free to call or ask in person.

How Fast Do You Sell Your Items?

We sell 90% of our item within the 90-day consignment period

Can I Get my Items Back Early?

Once the items are placed on consignment as a part of our contract, we kindly ask that they stay the entire 90-days. True Fashionistas puts in a lot of time, effort, and money to process the items and place them online and in store.

 However, if you would like your items back early, we do impose a $20 per item early termination fee.

Do I Get My Items Back If They Don’t Sell?

All items priced $25 and under (before the buyer’s fees) will be donated at the end of the agreement if they do not sell. We donate our items to AVOW in Naples. 

All items over $25 will be pulled after 90 days, and you will be notified twice (one phone call, one email) and given two weeks to pick up those items. We are willing to ship them (for a fee) if you are out of town, or you can give permission to someone else to get them. If items are not picked up within the two-week period, your items will be donated. 

What pricing category will my items be in? 

We have several categories of pricing. However, the most common ones are low Mid-Market, Contemporary, Designer, and High-End Designer. Some examples of what we consider to be in these categories are as follows:

High-End Designer (custom pricing): Dolce & Gabbana,  Moschino, Carolina Herrera, Herve Ledger, Brunello Cuccinelli

Designer Contemporary (on average $25-above): Tory Burch, Jimmy Choo, Alice & Olivia, DVF, Kate Spade, Farm Rio

Mid-Market (on average $10-$24): Michael Kors, Ann Taylor, White House Black Market, Zara, Free People, Anthropologie 

Lower Mid-Market (on average $10-Under): Bebe, Isacc Mizarahi, Torrid, H&M

Examples of brands we do not consign/buy: Forever 21, American Eagle, Gap, Target Brands 


We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our prices and information. However, mistakes and typographical errors may nevertheless occur. We reserve the right to make corrections. In the event you have purchased an item based on misinformation, True Fashionistas reserves the right to cancel the transaction with no further liability on its part.

Brand names and trademarks

The brand names are the trademarks of their respective owners. We are an independent dealer.

If I order and item online, it is always available?

Due to the nature of our business (we usually only have 1 of each item and the item may sell in the store before we can remove it from the site). We reserve the right to cancel the order and refund your money, if this happens. We will, however, contact you to let you know. Here at True Fashionistas we always say, “if you like it buy it before someone else does!”

How quickly we ship your online orders?

Items purchased before 1 pm EST usually ship the same day via USPS. Items purchased on the weekend or Holiday, will be shipped the next business day. In the event shipping will take longer, we will contact you.

Can you pick up your purchased online items in-store

Yes, you can chose in-store pick up when checking out and or We will contact you via email as soon as your order is ready for pick up. It is usually within 24-hours.
