CUTOUT OR GET OUT

CUTOUT OR GET OUT

It’s a True Fashionista trend that’s been on the fashion radar for almost 100 years, if you can believe it. Clothing intentionally missing a piece here or there is not only very much still on trend in 2022 but also raging, baby. You may harken back to spring/summer 2017 when we couldn’t get enough of cutout shoulders, and labels like Victoria BeckhamDKNY, and Zara churned out the “cold shoulder” look by the dozen. Then in 2020, they got their moment again, and we do mean moment, as cutouts were quickly squashed by pandemic-induced loungewear and slippers.
SPRING FLORAL EXCITEMENT

SPRING FLORAL EXCITEMENT

We would be remiss if the calendar says spring and we never discussed florals. Although nice weather reigns all year long here in our home base of Naples, Florida, we know our friends up north are celebrating the turn of seasons to warmer times. We delve into that annual rite of spring fashion known as florals with that thought. Whether you're looking for that adorable, True Fashionista dress for a backyard party or pretty spring décor for your home, we've lined up some ideas with which to greet warmer times, much of it found right now at True Fashionistas, Southwest Florida's largest designer resale and consignment store.
THE POWER SUIT REDEFINED

THE POWER SUIT REDEFINED

It's 2022, and just like that annoying ex and face masks, the power suit is back! Before flashes of 1980s gigantic shoulders send you scurrying to hide in the recesses of your walk-in closet, no worries, True Fashionistas! It's just the suit, not the football pads beneath, that showed up on spring fashion show runways and now appear on the racks of your fave consignment store, Naples, True Fashionistas.
