FALL 2021 FASHION TRENDS: BOLD COLORS AND KNITWEAR

While you shake your head in disbelief at the Halloween decorations popping up everywhere, there’s no denying that fall is on its merry way. Get busy slathering on another layer of sunscreen and pour another poolside cocktail; we’ll do the work of planning your True Fashionista wardrobe for the upcoming few months. We’ve got this at a fraction of the original price at Naples’ best consignment store. You won’t be able to miss what’s hot; the runways have been forecasting big, bright, and bold for fall, and now it’s here.

MODERN TIE-DYE STYLE

The sixties were umpteen million years ago, and one of the major results of that unique moment in American history is: no, not political and social upheaval and war; no, not the musical revolution, but the stuff of legend: True Fashionista tie-dye. Her “Tidying Up” book and companion Netflix show were monolithic gargantuan megahits, with delighted, committed hordes following her directive to dump the contents of one’s closets on the floor in order to pick up each item, decide whether or not it “sparks joy”. THE BREAKFAST NOOK REDESIGN

New home construction and remodels quite often incorporate a breakfast nook into the plan these days, aided no doubt by designers who have noticed that lately people tend to prefer a booth to a table and chairs when dining out. Designer Laurel Harrison insists that the booth experience is happening around the country as designers channel their childhood memories into cozy spaces.

SWIMSUIT TRENDS FOR SUMMER 2019

Summer is, like, here. You can keep thinking May flowers and graduations, but the heat index is up and that means soon enough there will be much more time spent outdoors by water. In Florida, where summer’s been here for the past month and a half, we focus a whole bunch on swimwear. The rest of the northern hemisphere finally gets to hit the beach and be seen in your True Fashionista seasonal wear. If you’re just digging out the carefully stored attire from last year, it’s a good idea to find out what’s out there this year, and catch up with what’s hot in 2019 besides your car.
